This portrait of Samuel L. Jackson as Major Marquis Warren for the Quentin Tarantino film 'The Hateful Eight' was done while Will was in our nation's capital. His first time there, he made some great new friends, saw some of our capital's greatest landmarks, and did some pretty cool tattoos. This particular piece is an addition to Alex's Tarantino-inspired leg sleeve and part of a two day session. Alex is a Captain in the U.S. Army and soon will be reporting for duty in Korea, so he agreed to meet Will in D.C. just to tattooed (since Will's schedule was otherwise full for a couple of months). Will also got to meet some of the great young Marines stationed there at 8th and I. We'd be remiss not to mention the great hospitality and friendship fostered with the crew at Champion Tattoo on Capital Hill. Butch, Grant, Luis, and Brandon were wonderful hosts and we look forward to seeing them soon at the D.C. Tattoo Convention in January! Will also ran into a tattooer from Middle Tennessee, Josh Adams and his lovely wife, who were thereon vacation. Small world!
